Job Description

We are seeking motivated SOC Analysts to join our dynamic team at Prithvi Technologies. This hybrid role is based in Noida, Bangalore, or Chennai and involves continuous monitoring and management of security operations to protect our organization from cyber threats.

Responsibilities:

  • Continuously monitor SOC Dashboard/SIEM Dashboards for security alerts, anomalies, and potential threats.
  • Prioritize and categorize security alerts based on severity, potential impact, and false positive rates.
  • Follow established security incident response procedures (SoPs) to address incidents promptly and effectively.
  • Conduct initial investigations into security incidents, gathering relevant data and evidence.
  • Create, update, and close tickets in the ITSM tool, documenting incident details and resolution steps.
  • Ensure adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for incident response and resolution.
  • Contribute to the security knowledge base by documenting incident resolutions and lessons learned.
  • Escalate critical security incidents to higher-level security teams as required.
  • Work closely with other IT and security teams to resolve incidents efficiently.
Job Requirements

• 1-2 years of experience as a security engineer or in a similar role within a Security Operations Centre (SOC).
• Good understanding of IT infrastructure, network protocols, and security concepts.
• Proficiency in ITSM ticketing tools (e.g., ServiceNow, JIRA, Remedy).
• Experience with SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar, ArcSight).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications

• Basic scripting or programming knowledge (desirable).
• A valid security certification (e.g., CEH, CompTIA Security+).
