FINCA Microfinance Bank Ltd is seeking a SOC Analyst Level 1 to join our cybersecurity team. This role involves monitoring, analyzing, and responding to security alerts to ensure the organization’s infrastructure remains secure and resilient.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and analyze security alerts from various security tools, including SIEM.
- Investigate violations and offenses to determine root causes.
- Identify and respond to potential security incidents or breaches.
- Collaborate with internal teams for escalations and issue resolutions.
- Generate and review daily, weekly, and monthly SIEM reports.
- Work in 24/7 shifts to provide continuous security monitoring.
Job Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• 1-3 years of experience in a similar role.
• Strong understanding of network and computer security, testing, and software security.
• Proficiency in security tools (e.g., Firewall, IDS/IPS, SIEM).
Preferred Qualifications
• Professional training in SOC or Incident Handling.
• Certifications in relevant cybersecurity fields.
