Job Description
CyberGate Defense is hiring a SOC Analyst L2 to join our team in Abu Dhabi. This role requires a candidate with 2-3 years of experience and Emirati nationality. The ideal candidate should be a graduate with a strong background in cybersecurity.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor security events and incidents in a SOC environment
- Conduct analysis of security alerts and log data
- Perform threat hunting and identify potential security incidents
- Respond to and mitigate security threats and vulnerabilities
- Utilize SIEM tools and other security technologies effectively
- Document and report security incidents and findings
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement security measures
Job Requirements
• 2 to 3 years of experience in a SOC environment
• Emirati nationality
• Graduation from a recognized institution
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and practices
• Knowledge of SIEM tools and incident response procedures
• Ability to analyze and interpret security event information
• Good communication and teamwork skills
Preferred Qualifications
• Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or equivalent
• Experience with threat intelligence and cyber threat analysis
• Familiarity with network security and endpoint protection technologies
• Understanding of cloud security principles
• Experience with forensic analysis and malware analysis
