Job Description
UST is seeking experienced SOC Analyst L1 professionals to join our Security Operations Center team. This role is vital for monitoring, detecting, and responding to cybersecurity incidents, ensuring the integrity and confidentiality of our clients’ data across multiple locations. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, experience in security incident handling, and the ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor security events and alerts to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities.
- Analyze security incidents to determine their impact and provide recommendations for remediation.
- Perform initial triage and investigation of security events.
- Collaborate with the IT team to implement security measures and mitigate risks.
- Document incidents and prepare detailed reports on findings and recommendations.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and mitigation strategies.
- Participate in security audits and assessments
Job Requirements
• 2 to 4 years of experience in a SOC or similar cybersecurity role.
• Proficiency in monitoring and analyzing security events using SIEM tools.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, threat analysis, and incident response.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a 24/7 environment.
Preferred Qualifications
• Relevant certifications such as CEH, CompTIA Security+, or CISSP.
• Experience with incident management and reporting tools.
• Familiarity with network protocols and security technologies.
