SOC Analyst (L1) – Mohali – 6 Months to 2 Years Experience
Job Description
We are hiring an SOC Analyst (L1) to join our cybersecurity team. In this role, you will monitor and analyze security alerts, perform initial triage, and support incident response to protect clients from cyber threats. Responsibilities:
- Monitor security alerts and investigate suspicious activities
- Perform initial triage and escalate incidents as required
- Analyze logs, events, and security tool outputs
- Support senior analysts in incident response
- Document findings and prepare reports
- Work with security tools such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, and cloud platforms
Job Requirements
• Basic knowledge of cybersecurity and networking
• Hands-on experience with SIEM, IDS/IPS, or other security tools
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Familiarity with Azure, Splunk, AWS, Active Directory, Grafana, or Prometheus is a plus
Preferred Qualifications
• Prior SOC or security operations experience
• Knowledge of Python or PowerShell
• Experience in VDI monitoring or golden image creation
