Job Description
Cybergate is looking for a skilled SOC L1 Analyst to join our team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in security operations and monitoring.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor security events and alerts using SIEM tools.
- Perform initial analysis and triage of security incidents.
- Escalate incidents to SOC L2/L3 analysts when necessary.
- Document and report security incidents and findings.
- Assist in incident response activities.
- Maintain and update security monitoring tools and systems.
- Collaborate with IT and security teams to mitigate identified threats.
Job Requirements
• 2+ years of experience in a Security Operations Center (SOC) environment.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and practices.
• Proficiency in using SIEM tools and technologies.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
• Certifications such as CEH, CompTIA Security+, or equivalent.
• Experience with incident response and handling.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance.
