Job Description
SOCByte is expanding its cybersecurity team and is looking for a skilled SOC Analyst to strengthen our security operations. If you’re passionate about addressing emerging threats and have a keen eye for cybersecurity, this role is perfect for you.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor security alerts and investigate potential security incidents.
- Analyze and respond to security breaches in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with team members to address vulnerabilities and develop strategies to mitigate risks.
- Maintain, manage, and operate SOC technologies like SIEM and EDR.
- Provide detailed reports and documentation on security events and remediation steps.
Job Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a similar discipline.
• 1+ years of experience in a Security Operations Center (SOC) or related role.
• Certification or training in SOC technologies such as SIEM, EDR, or equivalent.
• Willingness to work in a shift-based role, including nights and weekends when necessary.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with incident response and digital forensics.
• Additional certifications like CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or CEH.
• Familiarity with threat intelligence platforms and tools.
• Ability to work well under pressure and in a team environment.
