Job Description
Happiest Minds Technologies is seeking a motivated SOC Analyst to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, monitoring cybersecurity incidents and providing first-level troubleshooting and investigation.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor cybersecurity-related security events and new attacks on a 24×7 basis.
- Respond to security requests from users and the Helpdesk.
- Categorize incidents based on severity and assign them to the appropriate security group.
- Perform first-level troubleshooting and initial investigation.
- Record and manage new incidents in the system.
- Triage potentially malicious alerts to determine severity and criticality.
- Respond to alerts from various security detection systems and platforms.
- Collaborate with other teams for resolution activities.
- Provide periodic reports (daily/weekly/monthly).
- Gather contextual information for root cause analysis and attack methods.
- Escalate security incidents to SOC L2 or L3 functions when necessary.
- Monitor SIEM and other tool dashboards for suspicious activity.
Job Requirements
• 1 to 2 years of relevant experience in SOC monitoring.
• Proficiency in Qradar and SOC monitoring tools.
Preferred Qualifications
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
