Job Description

Zelis is seeking a talented Site Reliability Engineer to join our team in Hyderabad. As a Site Reliability Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of our systems and applications through automation, monitoring, and continuous improvement practices.
Responsibilities:

  • Designing and implementing automation solutions for deployment, configuration, and monitoring of systems and applications.
  • Monitoring system performance and reliability metrics to identify and address issues proactively.
  • Implementing and maintaining infrastructure as code practices to manage and scale our infrastructure efficiently.
  • Participating in incident response and post-mortem analysis to identify root causes and prevent recurrence.
Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 5 to 10 years of experience in a site reliability engineering or similar role.
• Proficiency in scripting and automation languages (e.g., Python, Bash, Ansible).
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Strong knowledge of containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).

Preferred Qualifications

• Certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or Google Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer.
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
• Knowledge of continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
