Job Description
CyberGate Defense is seeking a skilled SIEM Engineer to operate and enhance key security systems to protect against evolving cyber threats. This role involves managing advanced cybersecurity solutions, responding to incidents, and collaborating with internal teams to strengthen security posture.
Responsibilities:
- Manage critical security solutions to defend against cyber threats and attacks.
- Deploy new technologies to enhance the company’s security posture.
- Continuously fine-tune security systems to minimize false positive and false negative alerts.
- Act as an L3 escalation point for incident analysis and response.
- Conduct platform health checks to ensure effective and efficient operation of security solutions.
- Collaborate with Penetration Testing, Cyber Hunt, and Threat Intelligence teams to bolster cybersecurity measures.
- Automate processes and simplify workflows to reduce threat dwell time.
- Utilize tools like NAC, SIEM, EDR, and NDR solutions for security operations.
