Security Threat Analyst – Hyderabad – 2 to 10 Years Experience
Job Description
Arete is seeking passionate and skilled professionals to join our Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) team as Security Threat Analysts. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals with a strong interest in Security Operations and Threat Hunting to make a meaningful impact. We’re especially interested in candidates who can join immediately or within 30 days.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security events and incidents
- Conduct proactive threat hunting using advanced security tools
- Utilize Security Operations Center (SOC) platforms and Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) solutions
- Work with QRadar and other SIEM technologies to identify and mitigate threats
- Collaborate with internal teams to improve security posture and incident response
- Maintain detailed documentation and reports of security events
Job Requirements
• 2–10 years of experience in cybersecurity, threat analysis, or related fields
• Strong understanding of SOC environments and threat detection tools
• Hands-on experience with EDR and SIEM platforms (preferably QRadar)
• Ability to analyze and interpret large volumes of data
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
• Relevant certifications such as CEH, CompTIA Security+, or similar
• Prior experience in threat hunting and incident response
• Familiarity with scripting or automation tools to aid in analysis
