Job Description
CyberGate Defense is seeking a skilled SOC Analyst L2 to join our team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in a Security Operations Center (SOC) environment, with a focus on incident management, threat analysis, and cybersecurity tools.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and respond to security incidents effectively.
- Analyze security log data to identify trends and potential threats.
- Perform threat and vulnerability analysis, and provide expert security advisories.
- Utilize various security tools, including SIEM, HIPS/NIPS, network monitoring tools, and more.
- Collaborate in a 24×7 SOC environment to ensure uninterrupted security operations.
Job Requirements
• Minimum of 4+ years of experience in a Security Operations Center (SOC) role.
• Strong knowledge of cyber-attacks, threat vectors, and risk management practices.
• Proficiency in tools like SIEM, SSL, packet analysis, ServiceNow, Remedy, web security, and advanced SOC tools.
• Analytical skills to interpret security data from diverse devices and systems.
Preferred Qualifications
• Certifications such as CEH, CISSP, CompTIA Security+, or equivalent are a plus.
• Experience with advanced cybersecurity monitoring and remediation tools.
