Security Operation Engineer – Mumbai – 1 to 6 Years Experience
Job Description
We are hiring a Security Operation Engineer (SOC L1) to join our dynamic cybersecurity team. Responsibilities:
- Monitor incidents through Summit ticketing mechanisms, reports, and dashboards.
- Report security incidents to the concerned teams and the Infosec (SOC) team.
- Assist the SOC team with incident workflow and auto-ticket transfers.
- Support whitelisting of legitimate processes in coordination with Infosec.
- Help in identifying, analyzing, and resolving incidents effectively.
- Communicate with external teams to ensure timely and accurate resolution of incidents.
Job Requirements
• Minimum 6 months of relevant experience
• Any graduate with cybersecurity-related certifications
• Basic knowledge of security incident response and monitoring tools
• Strong communication and coordination skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Preferred Qualifications
• Certifications like CompTIA Security+, CEH, or equivalent
• Exposure to SOC operations or security tools
• Willingness to learn and grow in a cybersecurity role
