Responsibilities:

Security Design and Architecture:

• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to integrate security best practices into the development lifecycle.
• Design and implement secure architectures for web, mobile, and cloud-based products.

Threat Assessment and Vulnerability Management:

• Identify and assess vulnerabilities in applications, networks, and systems.
• Conduct penetration testing and risk assessments regularly.
• Implement and monitor measures to mitigate identified threats.

Incident Response and Management:

• Detect, respond to, and recover from security incidents and breaches.
• Maintain and update incident response plans.

Compliance and Governance:

• Ensure compliance with security standards and legal requirements (e.g., GDPR, ISO 27001).
• Assist in security audits and certifications.

Training and Awareness:

• Conduct security awareness training for employees.
• Advocate secure coding and deployment practices.

Tools and Automation:

• Deploy and manage tools like SIEM, IDS/IPS, and vulnerability scanners.
• Automate security workflows to enhance efficiency.
