Security Analyst (SOC) – Ahmedabad – 1 to 3 Years Experience
Job Description
SharkStriker Inc is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Security Analyst (SOC) to join our dynamic team. As a SOC Analyst, you will be responsible for monitoring, detecting, analyzing, and responding to cybersecurity incidents to protect our clients’ digital assets.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor security alerts and events using SIEM tools
- Investigate security breaches and incidents in real-time
- Conduct initial triage and analysis of threats
- Escalate and coordinate with internal teams for incident resolution
- Maintain and update incident response documentation
- Perform regular vulnerability assessments and threat hunting
- Provide detailed incident reports and recommendations
Job Requirements
• Hands-on experience with SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar, etc.)
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity fundamentals
• Familiarity with network protocols, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Willingness to work in rotational shifts
Preferred Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field
• Industry certifications such as CEH, CompTIA Security+, or similar
• Previous experience in a 24x7 SOC environment
