Job Description

Wipro Ltd. is looking for a skilled R&S Network Engineer with a service provider background to join our team. The role involves planning, designing, and implementing projects for service providers, along with troubleshooting and maintaining service provider technologies.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, design, and implement network projects for service providers.
  • Develop a deep understanding of service provider (SP) technologies.
  • Apply strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to resolve complex issues.
  • Work with Cisco products including ASR9K, ASR1K, and Catalyst series.
  • Lead network migration projects and provide on-site or remote support.
  • Work on high-level designs (HLD), low-level designs (LLD), and configuration management.
  • Ensure readiness for service migrations and complete configuration translations.
  • Communicate technology strategy and architecture to engineers, executives, and customers.
Job Requirements

• Minimum 8 years of overall experience, with at least 5+ years in R&S networking.
• Expertise in Cisco IOS, IOS-XR, IOS-XE, ASR9K, ASR 901/902/920, and Nexus product lines.
• Strong experience with Carrier Ethernet/Metro Ethernet, BGP, OSPF, ISIS, IP/MPLS, and QoS.
• Hands-on experience with migration windows, network migration projects, and MOP generation.
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) to liaise with customers and teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (BS/BE/BTech) or equivalent.
• Certifications in relevant networking technologies (CCNP, CCIE preferred).
