Network Support Engineer – Panagarh – 2 to 5 Years Experience

Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for a Network Support Engineer at Orient Technologies Limited. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and optimization of our network infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor ILL & MPLS link, network utilization, and call logging activities.
• Ensure optimum bandwidth utilization, mitigate latencies, and address link flapping issues.
• Identify high bandwidth utilization and normalize network bandwidth.
• Conduct health monitoring of routers, core switches, and all managed switches.
• Perform network equipment, switch configuration, and network optimization activities.
• Troubleshoot data center networks and provide L1 support; L2 support if required.
• Administer, configure, and troubleshoot firewalls, routers, and load balancers.
• Provide network troubleshooting and end-user support for both active and passive devices.
• Set up new networks or extend existing networks and manage network projects.
• Strengthen and manage network security.
• Manage wireless devices, setup, fault finding, restoration, VLAN management, and deployment.
• Plan and manage IP allocation.
• Maintain proper records, layouts, and documentation, including change management.
• Coordinate with vendors for cable laying jobs, route planning, and network extension.
• Convert alerts to tickets, follow up, and ensure timely closure.
• Log calls with OEMs and coordinate troubleshooting activities.
