Network & Security Officer – Dubai – 2 to 7 Years Experience
Job Description
We are currently hiring a Network & Security Officer to strengthen our cybersecurity and infrastructure capabilities. This role involves managing both network performance and security compliance to ensure robust, secure, and scalable IT systems.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage enterprise network infrastructure and security operations
- Monitor network traffic for unusual activity and respond to threats
- Implement and maintain firewalls, VPNs, and other security tools
- Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and company policies
- Develop and enforce security standards and procedures
- Support incident response and disaster recovery planning
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for secure architecture design
Job Requirements
• In-depth knowledge of networking protocols and security frameworks
• Experience in firewall management, IDS/IPS, SIEM, and endpoint security
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
• Familiarity with compliance standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, or GDPR
Preferred Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
• Industry certifications such as CCNA Security, CISSP, or CISM are a plus
• Previous experience in a similar role in a mid-to-large scale organization
