Job Description

NTT DATA is seeking a skilled Network Security Engineer L2 with specialized expertise in Advanced Persistent Threats (APT) to join our cybersecurity team in Mumbai. The ideal candidate will possess hands-on experience in identifying, analyzing, and mitigating APTs and be available to join within 15 to 30 days.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and analyze network traffic for potential security breaches and APT activities.
  • Investigate and respond to security incidents involving advanced persistent threats.
  • Implement and maintain security tools and technologies to protect against threats.
  • Collaborate with the cybersecurity team to develop and enforce security policies and procedures.
  • Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify and address security weaknesses.
  • Provide mentorship and support to junior team members as needed.
Job Requirements

• 2 to 5 years of experience in network security or cybersecurity roles.
• Demonstrated hands-on expertise in handling Advanced Persistent Threats (APT).
• Strong understanding of network protocols, security architectures, and best practices.
• Experience with security tools such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, and endpoint protection.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Availability to join within 15 to 30 days.

Preferred Qualifications

• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or similar.
• Experience with incident response and forensic analysis.
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance and security standards.
• Familiarity with scripting or programming languages for automation and tool development.
