Network Security Engineer – Dubai – 4 to 9 Years Experience
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Network Security Engineer to join our team for a contract role ranging from 2 to 6 months. The ideal candidate will have in-depth experience with Cisco and Fortinet technologies, strong technical skills, and a solid understanding of network security principles.
Responsibilities:
- Configure and manage Cisco and Fortinet devices
- Implement and maintain firewalls, routing, switching, and wireless networks
- Set up and manage VPNs (IPSec and SSL)
- Perform network segmentation using VLANs and ACLs
- Monitor and troubleshoot network infrastructure
- Maintain accurate technical documentation and templates
Job Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience with Cisco and Fortinet technologies
• Strong understanding of OSI model, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and NAT
• Proficient in managing network devices via CLI and GUI
• Experience with network monitoring tools like FortiManager
• Solid knowledge of network security best practices
Preferred Qualifications
• Cisco Certified: CCNP (Routing & Switching / Enterprise / Security)
• Fortinet Certified: NSE 4 or higher
