Job Description

We are looking for a talented Network Engineer L1 to join our team at Vserv Infosystems Private Limited. The ideal candidate will have a basic understanding of network protocols, IP subnetting, and routing protocols, with the ability to troubleshoot and monitor network connectivity.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor LAN, Wi-Fi, and WAN networks for connectivity issues.
  • Troubleshoot IP subnetting, packet flow, and DHCP issues.
  • Configure static and dynamic routing and switching protocols.
  • Provide 1st level network monitoring and basic fault escalation.
  • Use network tools like Wireshark for analysis.
  • Resolve issues within the defined SLA and document operational processes.
  • Monitor and manage ticket queues.
Job Requirements

• Knowledge of LAN, Wi-Fi, WAN terminology, IP Subnetting, and packet flow.
• Experience with Windows and Linux OS network configuration.
• Basic understanding of Firewalls and IP SLA.
• Familiarity with TCP/UDP ports and network analysis tools.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to escalate issues when necessary.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Technology (B.Tech/BCA/BE) or equivalent certification like Cisco CCNA.
• Experience with network monitoring or management tools.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and in a team.
