Network Engineer – Delhi NCR – 3 to 4 Years Experience

Job Description

MapleCloud Technologies is seeking an experienced Network Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate should have expertise in network infrastructure, security management, and system administration. We are looking for immediate joiners who are passionate about maintaining and optimizing IT environments.

Responsibilities:

Network Design and Implementation:

• Design, configure, and implement network infrastructures, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless systems.
• Manage network topologies, IP addressing schemes, and protocols.
• Monitor and troubleshoot network issues to ensure optimal performance.

Security Management:

• Implement security policies and procedures to protect network systems and data.
• Configure and maintain firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS).
• Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments.
• Respond to and manage security incidents, performing root cause analysis and remediation.
• Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and best practices.

Maintenance and Troubleshooting:

• Provide ongoing network and security support, including troubleshooting, testing, and documentation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve system performance issues and security concerns.
• Monitor and analyze network traffic for abnormal activities and vulnerabilities.

Collaboration and Training:

• Work closely with the IT team and business units to design and implement network and security solutions.
• Provide training and guidance to team members on best practices for network and security management.

System Administration:

• Manage, configure, and maintain Windows Server (2008/2012/2016/2019) and Linux (Ubuntu, CentOS, Red Hat, etc.) environments.
• Install, configure, and maintain server hardware and software.
• Administer Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and file/print services for Windows environments.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and security for both Windows and Linux systems.
• Configure and maintain Apache, Nginx, and other web server software for Linux-based systems.
