Network Engineer – Abu Dhabi – 2 to 3 Years Experience

Marc Ellis is currently hiring an experienced Network Engineer for a 12-month contractual role in Abu Dhabi. Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure for optimal performance and security
- Monitor and troubleshoot network systems, including LAN/WAN, routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs
- Perform network configuration and upgrades as per company needs and industry best practices
- Respond to network issues and outages efficiently and promptly
- Ensure compliance with organizational standards and documentation protocols
Job Requirements
• 2–3 years of hands-on experience as a Network Engineer or in a similar role
• Strong understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.)
• Proficiency in configuring and managing network devices (routers, switches, firewalls)
• Familiarity with network monitoring tools and techniques
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
Preferred Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or CompTIA Network+
• Experience working in enterprise network environments is an advantage
