Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Network and Security Engineer for a 3-month contract role based in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate must be currently residing in the UAE and possess a strong background in network and security management.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and analyze security alerts, incidents, and events to identify potential issues and security threats.
- Coordinate incident response activities with internal and external teams to ensure timely resolution of all incidents.
- Provide administration and support, including the installation, configuration, and customization of network hardware such as switches, routers, patch panels, firewalls, IPS, and load balancers.
- Implement and maintain the organization’s network infrastructure, including VOIP, LAN, WAN, VPN, and wireless networks.
- Ensure the availability, reliability, and security of network services and resources, including routers, switches, firewalls, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
- Monitor network performance and traffic patterns, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to optimize performance and minimize downtime.
Job Requirements
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a Network Administration role.
• 2+ years of experience managing Network and Security Projects.
• Cisco certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, and CCIE.
• CISSP certification is preferred.
• ITIL certification is required.
Preferred Qualifications
• Hands-on experience with network and security project management.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
