Job Description
We are hiring an experienced L1 SOC Analyst to join our client’s team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in security, IT, and incident management, with a proven track record of improving SOC services.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and improve current SOC services, including people, processes, and technology.
- Conduct network packet and NetFlow analysis.
- Handle incident management, prioritization, and response.
- Implement and maintain security infrastructure, including firewalls, VPNs, intrusion detection and prevention systems.
- Engage in policy and standards development, testing, and monitoring.
- Provide advanced knowledge and support in areas like endpoint protection, encryption, and network protocols.
Job Requirements
• 5+ years of security experience and 5+ years of IT experience.
• Strong understanding of computer science fundamentals, including algorithms, data structures, databases, operating systems, and networks.
• Advanced knowledge of TCP/IP, Internet protocols, and network infrastructure.
• Experience with security tools and exploits.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Preferred Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Networking, or Computer Security (or equivalent).
• Certifications such as CISSP, CISA, CISM (or equivalent).
• Experience in Red Teaming and Vulnerability Assessment/Penetration Testing (VA/PT) is an added advantage.
