Job Description
Orient Technologies Limited is seeking an experienced L1 Security Analyst (EDR) for our Sion location. The ideal candidate will have 1 to 3 years of experience in cybersecurity and a keen interest in enhancing their skills in a dynamic work environment.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor security alerts and notifications from the EDR platform and other security tools.
- Perform initial analysis and triage of potential security incidents to determine severity and impact.
- Escalate confirmed threats to L2 security analysts for further investigation.
- Document all activities during an incident and provide timely and concise communication to SOC management.
- Participate in developing incident response protocols and procedures.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest security threats and trends.
- Assist in the maintenance and fine-tuning of the EDR platform to improve detection capabilities.
Job Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of cybersecurity principles, frameworks, and standards.
Preferred Qualifications
• Additional certifications in cybersecurity (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CEH)
• Hands-on experience with EDR tools and platforms
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and documentation skills
