Responsibilities:
- Monitor real-time security alerts and assist with incident detection
- Support the security operations team with log analysis and event triage
- Document incidents and escalate complex issues to senior analysts
- Stay updated on cyber threats, tools, and techniques
- Follow established procedures and contribute to team process improvements
Job Requirements
• Basic understanding of cybersecurity concepts and SOC operations
• Familiarity with security tools like SIEM, antivirus, firewalls
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Availability to work in rotational shifts (4 days on, 4 days off)
Preferred Qualifications
• Degree or diploma in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field
• Certifications like CompTIA Security+, CEH, or any beginner-level SOC training
• Practical lab/project experience in cybersecurity (internships or personal projects)
