Job Description

We are currently looking for a motivated Junior SOC Analyst to join our team. As a Junior SOC Analyst, you will work with our experienced team of cybersecurity professionals to ensure the security of our systems. You will be partly responsible for monitoring and analyzing security incidents and taking the correct measures to prevent possible incidents.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and analyze security incidents using SIEM and SOAR tools and other security technologies.
  • Investigate suspicious activity and identify possible security breaches.
  • Collaborate with the team to respond to and recover from security incidents.
  • Maintain and improve procedures and documentation related to incident response.
  • Continually develop your knowledge and skills in cybersecurity.
Job Requirements

• A completed education in IT, Cybersecurity, or a related field, or equivalent through work experience.
• A healthy passion for technology, cybersecurity, and related topics.
• Basic knowledge of network protocols, operating systems, and cybersecurity concepts.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Willingness to learn and develop in a rapidly changing environment.
• Good knowledge of both Dutch and French.
• Belgian nationality.

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency in Bash, Linux, Python scripting.
• Experience with SIEM and SOC tools.
• Windows/Microsoft OS experience.
• Native or bilingual proficiency in Dutch (CEFR level 82 or higher).
• Professional working proficiency in English and French.
