IT Security Specialist – Dubai – 9 to 12 Years Experience
Job Description
We are currently looking for an experienced IT Security Specialist to join our team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge and experience in developing IT security policies, conducting risk assessments, and managing security incidents. Responsibilities:
- Develop IT security policies, procedures, and standards in alignment with business requirements.
- Conduct gap assessments and risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and areas of improvement.
- Evaluate emerging security threats and trends and develop strategies to mitigate risks.
- Use Vulnerability Assessment tools (e.g., Nessus, Nexpose) to identify security gaps.
- Investigate security incidents and provide post-incident analysis and recommendations.
- Monitor security events using SIEM systems and ensure compliance with industry standards.
Job Requirements
• Minimum 9 years of experience in IT security roles.
• Experience with Vulnerability Assessment tools and security incident investigations.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, PCI DSS, GDPR).
• Proficiency in security monitoring tools (SIEM systems).
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
• Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or equivalent are highly preferred.
• Familiarity with emerging security trends and threat mitigation strategies.
