Job Description

We are seeking a versatile and tech-savvy IT Infrastructure Engineer to join our growing team. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of our IT systems and supporting our team’s productivity.

Responsibilities:
  • Design, implement, and maintain the IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and storage systems.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Ensure the security and integrity of IT systems and data.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement IT solutions to support business objectives.
  • Monitor system performance and implement optimization strategies.
  • Manage IT assets, software licenses, and inventory.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest IT trends and technologies.
Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of IT infrastructure components (servers, networks, storage).
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting and problem-solving.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• A passion for technology and a desire to learn new things.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Virtualization Technologies: Familiarity with VMware, Hyper-V, or other virtualization platforms.
• Advanced Certifications: Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, MCSE, or AWS Certified Solutions Architect.
• Experience with Automation Tools: Proficiency in using automation and orchestration tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Terraform.
• Knowledge of Scripting Languages: Experience with scripting languages like PowerShell, Python, or Bash to automate tasks and improve efficiency.
• Strong Documentation Skills: Ability to create and maintain comprehensive IT documentation.
• Disaster Recovery Planning: Experience in developing and implementing disaster recovery plans and procedures.
• Experience with Monitoring Tools: Knowledge of monitoring tools such as Nagios, Zabbix, or SolarWinds.
