Job Description:
Join the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) as an IT Auditor and contribute to ensuring the security and integrity of our technology infrastructure. We’re seeking individuals with 3 to 6 years of experience who are ready to make an impact in the financial technology sector.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of applicable policies, procedures, processes, systems, and internal controls.
• Demonstrate a thorough understanding of IT/technology controls such as Firewall, WAF, IPS/IDS, SIEM, PIM, RBAC, etc.
• Support the team in documentation to ensure adequate approvals are in place for engaging service providers.
• Conduct assessments based on industry-accepted standards such as PCI DSS, ISO 27001:2013, SOC 2, NIST, and other local regulatory compliance.
• Work on the implementation of Third-Party Risk Management by collaborating closely with Banks, PSPs, and Service providers.
• Identify critical/high risks/observations and work closely with cross-functional teams for risk mitigation.
• Conduct ongoing monitoring and periodic assessments.
• Prepare vendor assessment reports/dashboards based on the analysis of business profiling and due-diligence questionnaire of third parties.
• Support the team in facilitating compliance and regulatory audits.
• Independently facilitate audits for NPCI’s Third parties and ensure their compliance requirements are met.
• Weekly publish MIS of the activities along with status to management.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Any Specialization (B.Tech/B.E., B.Sc) or M.E/M-Tech or MCA/MSc (CS).
• Experience in IT auditing or related field (3-6 years).
• Basic knowledge of ISO 27001 and operational risks related to technology.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
• Understanding of the regulatory landscape and third-party risk management.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to interact with all levels in the organization.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification in relevant areas such as CISA, CISSP, or equivalent.
• Experience in financial services or fintech industry.
