Intern [SOC Analyst] – Kolkata – Freshers
Job Description
We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated individuals to join our Security Operations Center (SOC) team as interns. This is a fantastic opportunity to kickstart your career in cybersecurity and gain hands-on experience in SOC operations, incident response, and threat detection.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in monitoring and analyzing security alerts from various SIEM platforms
- Support incident response and triage activities
- Help manage and maintain EDR, firewall, email security, and vulnerability management tools
- Research and analyze threat intelligence and advisories
- Contribute to the processing and review of digital forensic data
- Learn and implement basic threat hunting methodologies
Job Requirements
• Knowledge of any SIEM tools such as Securonix, ArcSight, Splunk, QRadar, or LogRhythm
• Understanding of device management (EDR, FW, Email Security, VM)
• Familiarity with system/application security threats like XSS, SQL injection, buffer overflow, etc.
• Interest in incident response and digital forensics
• Strong analytical and learning mindset
Preferred Qualifications
• Basic certifications such as CCNA, CEH, CSA (Certified SOC Analyst), or relevant platform certifications
• Strong willingness to learn and take initiative
• Availability to join within one month
