Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Enterprise Architect – Data to join our team on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will have deep experience in cloud data architecture, data warehousing, and Databricks implementations. Responsibilities:
- Architect and design scalable data platforms and infrastructure solutions
- Lead implementation of Databricks in production environments using infrastructure as code and DevOps practices
- Develop and manage data integration and data warehousing solutions
- Collaborate with stakeholders to align data architecture with business strategies
- Provide leadership on cloud-based data initiatives
- Influence technology decisions across enterprise-level projects
Job Requirements
• Minimum 15 years of professional experience in IT
• 5+ years in data warehousing, cloud architecture, and data integration
• At least 3 years of hands-on experience with Databricks
• Strong proficiency in SQL, data modeling, and ETL processes
• Familiarity with major cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
• Demonstrated success in delivering complex technology solutions within large IT organizations
• Experience working with senior executives and influencing strategic technology decisions
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with infrastructure as code tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation)
• DevOps knowledge and experience with CI/CD pipelines
• Strong communication and presentation skills
