Enterprise Architect (Azure) – Richmond – 5 to 10 Years Experience
Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Azure Enterprise Architect to design and implement enterprise-grade cloud solutions. The ideal candidate will work closely with development, infrastructure, and service delivery teams to define and execute Azure architecture standards for a new platform.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement Azure cloud architecture across compute, storage, networking, and databases
- Manage Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform, Bicep, and PowerShell
- Develop CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions
- Enforce security and governance through Azure AD, RBAC, Zero Trust principles, and compliance standards (ISO, SOC, NIST)
- Apply Azure Policy, Security Center, ARM Templates to ensure consistent governance and security
Job Requirements
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Azure cloud architecture
• Strong skills in Azure Compute, Storage, Networking, SQL Managed Instance, AKS
• Proficient with Infrastructure-as-Code tools: Terraform, Bicep, PowerShell
• Experience with Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions CI/CD pipelines
• Solid knowledge of Azure AD, RBAC, Zero Trust security model, and compliance frameworks
Preferred Qualifications
• Azure Solutions Architect Expert or Cybersecurity Architect Expert certifications
• Experience working in hybrid cloud environments
