DLP Specialist – Mumbai – 2 to 7 Years Experience

Job Description

We are seeking a talented and experienced Forcepoint and Symantec DLP Specialist to join our cybersecurity team. In this role, you will be responsible for the configuration, implementation, and maintenance of Forcepoint and Symantec Data Loss Prevention (DLP) solutions. You will play a critical role in safeguarding our clients’ sensitive information and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Implementation and Configuration: Deploy, configure, and integrate Forcepoint and Symantec DLP solutions based on organizational needs and security policies.
• Monitoring and Maintenance: Monitor the performance and health of DLP systems, ensuring proactive identification and resolution of issues to maintain optimal functionality.
• Policy Development: Develop and implement DLP policies and rulesets tailored to mitigate data loss risks while aligning with industry standards and best practices.
• Incident Response: Investigate DLP alerts and incidents, providing timely analysis, escalation, and remediation actions to mitigate potential data breaches.
• Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of DLP configurations, policies, procedures, and incident response protocols.
• Training and Support: Provide training to end-users and administrators on DLP best practices, functionality, and incident response procedures.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT security, compliance, legal, and business units, to ensure DLP solutions align with organizational objectives and regulatory requirements.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay abreast of emerging threats and industry trends related to DLP technologies, recommending and implementing enhancements to strengthen the security posture.
