Data Privacy Specialist – Mumbai – 2 to 8 Years Experience
Job Description
Deloitte India is hiring experienced professionals to join our growing Data Privacy team. We are seeking passionate individuals with expertise in data protection laws, focusing on DPDPA and GDPR compliance. The ideal candidate should be proficient in managing privacy tools and conducting privacy assessments to ensure organizational data security.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct Privacy Risk Assessments and Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIA)
- Prepare and maintain Records of Processing Activities (ROPA)
- Develop and manage Data Flow Diagrams (DFDs)
- Assist in privacy policy development and management
- Utilize privacy tools such as Securiti.ai, OneTrust, BigID, etc.
- Support compliance initiatives for DPDPA and GDPR
Job Requirements
• 2–8 years of relevant experience in the data privacy domain
• Strong understanding of DPDPA, GDPR, and global privacy regulations
• Hands-on experience with data privacy tools
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
• Immediate joiners are highly encouraged
• Work experience with a Big 4 firm is preferred
• IAPP certifications (e.g., CIPP/E, CIPM, CIPT) are a strong advantage
