Job Description
HackVitraSec (HVSec) is looking for passionate cybersecurity interns with a focus on Penetration Testing. This 6-month remote internship offers hands-on experience in ethical hacking, vulnerability assessment, and real-world exploit simulation. Perfect for final-year students or freshers eager to break into the field of cybersecurity.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing (VAPT)
- Identify, report, and simulate real-time exploits
- Analyze and secure web applications against common threats
- Work with tools such as Burp Suite and explore the OWASP Top 10
- Prepare detailed reports and risk-based analysis of findings
Job Requirements
• Basic understanding of cybersecurity concepts
• Familiarity with web technologies and security testing tools
• Willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced, remote environment
• Good written communication skills for reporting and documentation
Preferred Qualifications
• Coursework or certifications in cybersecurity or ethical hacking
• Participation in bug bounty programs or CTFs
• Knowledge of programming/scripting (e.g., Python, JavaScript)
