Job Description
Cyber Paradox is looking for motivated individuals to join our Network Security Engineer Internship program. This is an excellent opportunity to gain practical, hands-on cybersecurity experience under the guidance of industry experts. Explore core concepts of network security, firewall management, intrusion detection, and secure infrastructure design.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in monitoring and securing network infrastructure
- Participate in configuring firewalls, routers, and switches
- Perform vulnerability assessments and recommend mitigation strategies
- Help identify potential threats and suspicious activities in network traffic
- Document findings and contribute to network security reports
- Support team in implementing network defense mechanisms
Job Requirements
• Basic knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs, firewalls, etc.)
• Strong interest in cybersecurity and network defense
• Willingness to learn new tools and technologies
• Analytical mindset and good troubleshooting skills
• Ability to commit to internship hours and program structure
Preferred Qualifications
• Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field
• Exposure to network tools (Wireshark, Nmap, etc.) or cybersecurity labs
• Completion of relevant online cybersecurity or network security courses
