Job Description

UltraViolet Cyber is seeking experienced and certified Cyber Security Engineers to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience in SIEM integration, rule writing, threat detection, and security control implementation. If you have a strong background in cybersecurity tools, automation scripting, and a passion for improving security architecture, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

  • Integrate, implement, and manage cybersecurity tools and platforms
  • Ingest logs, create use cases, and develop rules and policies in SIEM tools
  • Develop, test, and maintain detection logic across SIEM, EDR, and other platforms
  • Analyze and enhance network, system, and application security
  • Design and deploy automated security controls
  • Collaborate with DevOps and platform teams to embed security in system design
  • Participate in change management with a focus on security improvements
  • Implement various security technologies including anomaly detection, database security, vulnerability scanning, and response
Job Requirements

• 4 to 8 years of relevant cybersecurity experience
• Strong hands-on skills in SIEM tools, rule writing, and log analysis
• Proficiency in at least one scripting language: Python, PowerShell, Bash, or Perl
• Experience with firewall management, IDS/IPS, access control, and risk assessments
• Must be available to work the Second Shift and attend F2F interviews on weekdays

Preferred Qualifications

• Certifications such as OSCP, CRTP, CRTO, PNPT
• Immediate joiners (0 to 15 days notice period preferred)
