Cyber Forensic Investigator – Mumbai – 5 to 11 Years Experience
Job Description
KPMG Forensic is hiring experienced and driven Cyber Forensic Investigators for an onsite engagement. This role involves conducting digital forensic investigations, analyzing malware, performing reverse engineering, and supporting cybersecurity operations across enterprise environments.
The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in forensic methodologies, evidence handling, and advanced cyber investigations. Immediate joiners are preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct digital forensic investigations across endpoints, servers, and networks.
- Perform malware analysis and reverse engineering.
- Support application security and cloud security investigations.
- Assist in cybersecurity operations and incident response activities.
- Collect, preserve, and analyze digital evidence following forensic standards.
- Prepare detailed forensic reports and present technical findings.
- Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
Job Requirements
• B.Tech / M.Tech / BCA / MCA in Computers, IT, Electronics, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in forensic investigations, malware analysis, reverse engineering, application security, cloud security, or cybersecurity operations.
• Holder of at least one active certification such as:
International Association of Computer Investigative Specialists CFCE
Global Anti-Scam Foundation GASF
National Association of Certified Fraud Examiners CDFE
ISFCE CCE
OpenText EnCE
GIAC GCFA / GCFE / CHFI
• Strong analytical, documentation, and reporting skills.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience working on complex enterprise or regulatory investigations.
• Familiarity with forensic tools and evidence management platforms.
• Strong understanding of cyber laws and compliance frameworks.
