Job Description

The Cloud Security Engineer will be a key member of the Cloud Security Engineering Team within our Global Information Security organization. This role involves developing and deploying new security capabilities and automations in a multi-cloud environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deploy new security capabilities in a multi-cloud environment
  • Automate security processes and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines
  • Build and manage cloud functions (e.g., AWS Lambda)
  • Develop security capabilities using Python
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure security standards are met
  • Articulate complex technical ideas in simple business terms
Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Security or related field, or equivalent experience/certification
• 7+ years of overall Information Technology experience
• 3+ years of software development experience
• 2+ years of experience with Python
• 2+ years of experience in Information Security
• 2+ years of experience with public cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure)
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and IaC tooling for cloud-native deployments
• Proven ability to work independently and in a cross-functional environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
• AWS Professional Architect, AWS Security Specialty, or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer
• Experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies
• Experience with peer code review
• Knowledge of securing technologies such as Cloud-Native Services (e.g., VPCs, S3 buckets), Container Platforms (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes), APIs, and Identity and Access Management
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage details and compliance with standards and expectations
• Technical infrastructure operations, administration, or engineering background
