Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Citrix Administrator to join our team at Alchemy Solutions. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Citrix administration, with a focus on XenApp, XenDesktop, and NetScaler. This is a contract position based in Beachwood, OH, requiring onsite presence from day one.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain Citrix environments, including XenApp, XenDesktop, and NetScaler.
  • Ensure optimal performance, availability, and security of Citrix infrastructure.
  • Implement and manage virtualization technologies, particularly VMware vSphere.
  • Automate tasks and processes using scripting languages such as PowerShell.
  • Monitor and manage Citrix environments using tools like Citrix Director and Citrix ADC.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to achieve project goals.
  • Prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Commit to continuous learning and professional development in Citrix administration.
Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Citrix administration.
• Citrix Certified Associate (CCA-V) or higher certification.
• Strong understanding of virtualization technologies, particularly VMware vSphere.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Additional certifications in Citrix or related technologies.
• Experience with Citrix monitoring and management tools.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
