Associate Engineer [Security] – Gurugram – 1 to 2 Years Experience
Job Description
BT Group is looking for a talented and motivated Associate Engineer – Security to join our security team. This role offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge security technologies and contribute to the protection of enterprise-level systems and networks.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with the configuration, deployment, and support of security devices such as NGFWs and UTM
- Support firewall migration between various vendors
- Monitor network and security infrastructure and escalate issues as needed
- Contribute to automation initiatives and help streamline operations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on troubleshooting and network performance optimization
Job Requirements
• Basic understanding of networking concepts, routing protocols, and security devices
• Experience with multiple security vendors such as Palo Alto, F5, Cisco, Cisco FTD, and Checkpoint
• Familiarity with firewall migration projects
• Understanding of public cloud platforms and their security considerations
• Knowledge of devices operating across multiple OSI layers
Preferred Qualifications
• Relevant certifications in security/networking technologies (e.g., CCNA Security, PCNSA, Check Point CCSA)
• Experience with automation tools and scripting
• Good communication and analytical skills
