Application Security Analyst – Mumbai – 2 to 5 Years Experience
Job Description
Indusface is seeking passionate and skilled Application Security Analysts to join our Client Services team. You will perform ethical penetration tests on web applications, mobile apps, and systems, identifying and helping fix vulnerabilities. This role offers opportunities to research, innovate, and contribute to building cutting-edge security solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing of web and mobile applications.
- Provide consulting and remediation guidance to customers on improving application security.
- Research new vulnerabilities, attack vectors, tools, and industry trends.
- Assist engineering teams in developing scanner signatures and improving security products.
- Develop custom scanner signatures and contribute to firewall rules.
- Act as the primary escalation point for assigned client engagements.
- Provide detailed activity reports and timely updates to management.
- Offer offsite and onsite consulting services as required.
Job Requirements
• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree (BE/MCA/MBA) with IT security, networking, or system integration experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with white box, black box, and grey box application security testing.
• Deep understanding of OWASP Application Security Verification Standards.
• Relevant certifications such as CEH, OSCP, or equivalent skillset.
• 2 to 5 years of application security auditing experience.
Preferred Qualifications
• Expertise in both thin and thick client application security assessments.
• Experience contributing to application security research and checklist development.
