Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Application & Cloud Security Specialist for our esteemed German-based R&D Client. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of information security principles, cloud security threat modeling, and security architecture, particularly in the context of large-scale cloud-based services (SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS).
Responsibilities:
- Perform application threat modeling based on the STRIDE/DREAD model.
- Assess and manage security risks across cloud applications and infrastructure.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure the secure deployment of cloud-based services.
- Monitor and respond to security incidents and threats in cloud environments.
- Develop and implement security policies, standards, and procedures for cloud applications.
Job Requirements
• 3-7 years of experience in information security, with a focus on cloud security.
• Proven experience in cloud architecture and cloud-based services (SaaS, PaaS, IaaS).
• In-depth knowledge of security challenges in deploying cloud applications.
• Proficiency in threat modeling, particularly using the STRIDE/DREAD model.
• Strong understanding of system and network security.
Preferred Qualifications
• Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or equivalent.
• Experience with security tools and technologies for cloud environments.
• Familiarity with DevSecOps practices and tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
