- Develops customized dashboards for operations, security, and management teams.
- Good hands-on experience in log and monitoring management systems, security event monitoring network-based and host-based intrusion detection systems, firewall technologies, malware detection and enterprise-level.
- Provide daily summary reports of network events and activity relevant to cyber defence practices.
- Provide timely detection, identification, and alerting of possible attacks/intrusions, anomalous activities, and misuse activities and distinguish these incidents and events from benign activities.
- Working understanding of OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities.
- Moderate knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, Network Layers, etc.)
- Experience in 24x7x365 security monitoring and incident response activities, on-call rotations, and shift rotations as need.
- Strong technical skills and the ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
- Motivated self-starter with strong written and verbal communications skills, and the ability to create complex technical reports on analytic findings.
