Identifying and Reviewing change requests raised pan Bank from a Financial Reporting Risk (FRR) perspective.  Going through process flows, RCMs, Change Management Notes (CMC Notes), policies, etc and discussing with process owners to aid in understanding and assessing implications of changes required.  Reviewing the UAT scenarios & testing conducted by the stakeholders for the changes basis the risks identified and recommending additional scenarios to further mitigate risks.  Gaining knowledge of internal applications being used by the Bank.  Giving value-added inputs/recommendations where relevant from UX, automations, etc perspectives.  Key projects worked on: o Enabling charging of DCC fees on foreign VISA cards at ATMs. o Integration of Phone Banking application with third party insurance portal for cross-selling. o Initiating proactive credits to customers in case of failed ATM transactions.  Key issues identified during the course of work: o Possibility of data transfers via Bluetooth on certain laptops. o Excess Bank charges being levied to certain class of accounts in violation of charge structures. o Failure to implement proper verifier controls as observed during UAT review.
