Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing (VAPT) Analyst – Remote – 2 to 3 Years Experience
Job Description
VistaPace Solutions is looking for a passionate and detail-oriented VAPT Analyst to join our cybersecurity team. This is a remote opportunity for professionals with 2–3 years of experience in penetration testing and vulnerability assessments. Responsibilities:
- Assist in conducting vulnerability scans and penetration tests on web apps, mobile apps, and network infrastructure
- Document identified vulnerabilities and misconfigurations
- Use standard VAPT tools like Nmap, Burp Suite, Nessus, and Metasploit
- Contribute to clear, concise findings and remediation reports
- Stay updated on emerging threats and tools
- Support basic assessments following defined testing procedures
Job Requirements
• Hands-on experience with common vulnerabilities (OWASP Top 10, SANS Top 25)
• Familiarity with operating systems (Windows, Linux)
• Understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP)
• Basic proficiency with VAPT tools
• Self-driven and comfortable in a remote work environment
Preferred Qualifications
• Certifications like CEH, CompTIA Security+, or equivalent are a plus
• Strong communication and report-writing skills
• Prior experience contributing to cybersecurity audits or red team activities is a bonus
