Network Security Engineer L2 [Firewall] – Mumbai – 2 to 4 Years Experience
Job Description
We’re hiring a skilled Network Security Engineer with hands-on experience managing firewalls such as Palo Alto, Checkpoint, Cisco ASA, and Fortinet. This role requires a strong understanding of network security concepts and practical expertise in firewall configuration and management.
Responsibilities:
- Configure and manage firewalls across multiple platforms.
- Perform packet analysis using tools like Wireshark/PCAP.
- Support security operations in Windows, Linux, and Unix environments.
- Utilize security tools including SIEM, IAM, AD, and SOAR for monitoring and incident handling.
- Follow ITIL processes to manage incidents and ensure timely resolution.
Job Requirements
• 2-4 years of hands-on experience with major firewall solutions (Palo Alto, Checkpoint, Cisco ASA, Fortinet).
• Strong knowledge of network security principles and best practices.
• Experience in packet analysis and network troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with security tools such as SIEM, IAM, AD, and SOAR.
• Understanding of ITIL processes and incident handling.
Preferred Qualifications
• Certifications in Palo Alto, Checkpoint, or Fortinet firewalls.
• Experience working in multi-platform environments (Windows/Linux/Unix).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
