GRC Manager – Abu Dhabi – 10 to 15 Years Experience
Job Description
We are hiring a GRC (Governance, Risk & Compliance) Manager for a leading bank in Abu Dhabi. This role is ideal for a senior cybersecurity professional with deep experience in governance and risk management within the financial sector. You must currently be residing in the UAE and possess strong local industry knowledge.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage governance, risk, and compliance frameworks
- Develop, implement, and maintain cybersecurity policies, standards, and procedures
- Ensure alignment with regulatory requirements and industry best practices
- Lead internal and external audits, risk assessments, and compliance reviews
- Collaborate with senior stakeholders to communicate risk posture and mitigation plans
- Identify and remediate control gaps across the organization
Job Requirements
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in cybersecurity or GRC roles
• At least 5 years of experience in the banking or financial services sector
• Proven expertise in risk management, regulatory compliance, and audit management
• Strong understanding of international standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, PCI-DSS)
• Excellent communication, leadership, and strategic planning skills
Preferred Qualifications
• Relevant certifications such as CISM, CRISC, CISSP, or ISO 27001 Lead Implementer/Auditor
